New Youth Literacy Program!

The Crosby Fund is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural Youth Literacy Program at our Education Center in Deschapelles. As of January 2021, 2 classes will be offered for children ages 6 thru 13, three days a week, 3 hours a day. The classes will be taught by two of CFHE’s  extraordinary tutors (Herald Alexandre and Ronide Estime) and the program will be overseen by Mona Montinat who is also one of the teaches of our Adult Literacy program. The program’s mission is to provide basic literacy to children in the region who have had little or no schooling. In partnership with USAID who provided the curriculum and materials for the program, CFHE so excited to be able to offer this new program to these enthusiastic young students.
