What is the Crosby Fund?

Our Mission

A Brighter Future for Haiti

The Crosby Fund for Haitian Education is guided by the deep conviction that a brighter future for Haiti depends on educating its youth and preparing them for professional careers in Haiti. Less than half of the Haitian children’s families can afford school, therefore The Crosby Fund provides full scholarships for students from pre-k through university and offers additional academic support at our Education Center in Haiti’s Artibonite Valley.

Our Story

We began our work 21 years ago offering scholarships to 32 secondary (high school) students. Today we have given out 7,368 full scholarships to students at the primary, secondary, technical and university level.

Our Story

The Education Center

Launched in 2017, Our Education Center in Deschapelles is a multi-purpose facility not only designed to house our offices and staff, but also to host extra-curricular programs that support The Crosby Fund’s core mission. To that end, CFHE operates our highly successful tutoring program at the Ed Centers as well as several other programs designed to provide the surrounding community with crucial life skills and extracurricular educational training, including Adult Literacy, Sex Ed, Teachers Seminars, Summer camps, among others.
